The color of the bars in the grid, to the right of each camera, is significant. Red indicates that a camera was set up for motion detection, that it detected motion, and recorded footage of the motion. Depending on the length of time that motion was detected, and the settings created by the user in the Config: Motion tab, AND the Config:Scheduled Record tab, the size of the bar could range from a small sliver, to a long, solid red line. Blue indicates that a camera was set up for continuous recording for the duration of time that the blue bar extends.

In the right column, underneath the word "Playback," there are four icons representing the layout of the video in the playback screen. Each respective icon will limit the number of screens on the left to the number of squares in the icon. The first icon will display the first camera "checked" in the grid at the bottom---any additional cameras that have been "checked" will not be displayed. The second will display UP TO the first four cameras "checked" in the grid at the bottom---any additional cameras that have been "checked" will not be displayed. The third icon will display UP TO the first 9 cameras "checked" in the grid at the bottom---any additional cameras that have been "checked" will not be displayed. Finally, the fourth icon will display UP TO the first 16 cameras "checked" in the grid at the bottom. Please note that 16 is the maximum number of camera screens that can be viewed at once. If 16 cameras have already been "checked," and another needs to be viewed, one of the initial 16 cameras will have to be "unchecked" before you'll be able to "check" the desired camera for viewing in the playback screen.
