DVP Remote Connection 

    Click bitmap button connection on the main window to enter "connect"  dialog.      

To  connect remotely to the DVR:

Step 1: Input  the IP address of PC with DVR into the combo box "IP address", and input User and Password of DVR. Note: If on the same network as DVR, type the PRIVATE IP ADDRESS of the DVR. If connecting from a remote location over the internet, use the PUBLIC IP ADDRESS. There's no need to type a colon followed by 9009 . . . The DVP software already knows which ports to connect through.

Step 2: Click "Connect", a success message box will pop up if  it connects successfully. Otherwise a failed box will be shown.

If connection fails, please check the network hardware  to see whether it is working well or configured correctly. In addition, ensure DVR system is turned on and the DVR software is running. Remote access won't work if DVR system and software aren't active..
