Network Monitoring Malfunction Diagnoses


Q: You have set by direction before I view by IE, but you don't open the web page and don't find the server. Why?

A: First, make sure the network is good. If the IP address of your computer in which you have installed the DVR is 218.17.205.74, please check as follows:

    1. Click "start"---"Programs"---"Accessories"---"C:\Command Prompt", then enter "ping 218.17.205.74" and check whether the network is good. If the network is bad, the picture is as follows:

   

Then you must check whether the network of your computer in which you have installed the DVR or in which you view by IE is good. If the network is good, the picture is as follows:

   

Then go to step 2.

    2. Minimize the DVR software in the computer in which you have installed the DVR, then right click in the blank of the Taskbar at the bottom of the desktop, click "Task Manager", and check whether there is httpsvr.exe in Processes. If not, run C:\DVR\httpsvr.exe. Otherwise, please go to step 3.

    3. Make sure whether the network mode of your computer in which you have installed the DVR is POP by Router, and if OK, the remote view is in the LAW. Please correctly set the port in the Router.

Q: When I view by IE in the client, I enter the public IP or the dynamic domain name at the IE address column, and open the web page, but don't open the interface of the ETHER DVR software, and open the inteface of other DVR software. Why?

A: The reasons is that the computer that is used to install ETHER DVR card has installed other DVR card, the solutions as follows:

    1) First, please uninstall other DVR software inside out, and if you can't, please install OS, or go to setp 2.

    2) Revise the network configuration in the computer in which you have installed DVR, and revise the Http Server Port, such as: 9090 etc. If your network mode is POP by router in the computer in which you have installed the DVR software, please in Port Forwarding in the router port 80 become port 9090, and others is same.

    3) Enter http://218.17.205.74:9090 at the IE address column in the client, but not http://218.17.205.74.So you can view remotely.

Q: How can I view two DVR in two computers where there is not the same private IP when I view DVR for 32 channels and the DVR installed in two computers in the LAN and the DVR for 16 channels is installed in each computer?

A: If the IP of the router is 61.130.115.150, the private IP of DVR1 is 192.168.1.3, and the private IP of DVR2 is 192.168.1.6, for DVR1 the network configuration is default, and for  DVR2 default socket port 9000, 9001, 9002 should become other continuous numbers 9010, 9011, 9012. Then configure in port forwarding in the router.

Next, enter http://61.130.115.150 at IE address column in client and connect DVR, automatically pop as follows:

    

Click button Next and connect DVR1, then click bitmap button , pop the above window. Enter 9010, 9011, 9012 on the right at socket port, click button Next and connect DVR2.
